Delivery Schedule: Depending upon the complexity of the project- most final art can be provided to client within 7 business days upon approval of sketches. Rush service
can also be arranged for projects that require a tighter deadline.
Rights Granted: Upon receipt of full payment or otherwise specified, Mudge Studios grants First North American reproduction rights unless otherwise negotiated. Reuse fees vary depending on usage. Artwork is generally rendered Digitally. Art produced on traditional media remains the property of Mudge Studios and shall be returned to the Artist within 30 days of publication accompanied by samples that the Artwork is featured in/on.
Terms: Unless other arrangements are made, Mudge Studios requires a 50 per cent deposit of the project price to begin work with new clients. Balance of Payment is due 30 days after the delivery of artwork. Royalty and/or Flat Fee arrangements are always open for negotiation when novelty and retail goods are involved. Also a cancellation fee based on work completed shall be agreed upon prior to the start of a project.
Rates: Projects using Illustration vary widely in complexity, style and intended use- thus the Rates that Mudge Studios charges can vary. Please contact Mudge to discuss your illustration project, so that he may provide you with an accurate quote. Quite often a client has a fixed budget and a flat fee for the completion of the project is negotiated. Unless a flat rate is agreed upon by the illustrator and client, a fee of $40-$75 per hour is generally charged by the illustrator.
